All In Forms

This series is an introspective series based upon peace, happiness, calmness, adventure, chaos, self-exploration, gratitude, and an undeniable calling to be free.  To become what I consider an artist to be, unrestricted and unbound by common thought or restraint and to express one’s emotions without judgment nor prejudice.

An opportunity to be recognized, if only just for a moment in time.

This series takes a closer, more introspective look into patterns and time.  You begin to see the patterns have deeper meaning within one’s self and just like this frozen ice, cannot be ignored…it’s there.  You begin to feel this circle of life happening all around you.  As the cracks represent hardship, you can see the beauty it represents when stepping back and looking at the overall layout of the ice from above.

Broken fragments, scarred but made beautiful by a power much greater than we can conceptualize or begin to fathom.

At any given moment this frozen water could give way.  This is a haunting feeling and at the same time beautiful.  I could think of no more excruciating way to come to an end than freezing to death in bone-crushing cold water.  This is undeniable fate.

My thoughts and deep introspection drive me across the barren, frozen lake.  I am looking for patterns, beauty, meaning in the frozen chaos beneath me.

Beauty and pleasure are most acutely felt and appreciated at the maximum point of contrast.  Inter-meditation of the calm soul floods over.  Without chaos, I would never appreciate this moment in time as much.

We are part of the cosmos that’s always seeking equilibrium and life is best experienced when in transition between the extremes.

Frigid to the core, I am comforted by the thoughts of a warm fire in the cabin and a good pour of Irish whiskey and personal reflection.
